Gantry Eagle 1200
Overview
Like most sinker EDM machines, the OPS-Ingersoll Gantry Eagle 1200 features a dual 32-bit, PC-based CNC Control that enables faster data processing and servo control. The machine’s unique construction provides thermal stability and rigidity. Its 4-sided drop tank design allows work-area access from all sides. The Eagle 1200 is one of the first machines to utilize the new Eagle PowerTec power supply with the world’s first Adaptive Current-Shape generator. Each discharge pulse calculates and creates the ideal current shape for the exact discharge requirements needed. Eagle PowerTec and Eagle Power Jump work together to drastically reduce electrode wear and reduce burn times by up to 50 percent—especially in graphite.
